Police are speaking with a man found in a bullet-riddled car located in the 5500 block of Alhambra Valley Road after shots and a person yelling were reported in the area a little after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Neighbors reported hearing a man yelling along with at least three shots fired at that time. Responding officers searched the area and located a car which had been struck by bullets, the occupant suffering from an apparent wound to the head.

Details remain sketchy as the incident is fresh and still under investigation but it is believed the man was pistol-whipped, with someone firing at his car as he drove off. Circumstances leading up to the occurrence and resultant gunfire remain unclear.

    • Yeah, because more guns solves all the problems in this country. Let’s revert back to the wild west when all disputes were resolved in a shootout.

      • Can you mention one event where the person was resolving a dispute? No its criminals robbing and mistreating other people. Maybe if the government tried a little harder to keep criminals off the streets and guns out of their hands (look at every single criminal robbery case in the bay area pretty much a felon with a an illegal gun), and instead quite blaming thereby taking the responibility off anyone else but the guns, well hell then might get somewhere.

      • Jane,

Not all Wild West disputes were settled with a shootout, we had court systems, judges, juries, trials. Criminals who were convicted were sent to prison for appropriate sentences, not released early and some faced capital punishment.

      • Guns are not the problem…. People are!
Guns don’t shoot themselves…. People do!
Rid the streets of the criminals…. Problem solved!

  1. “Firearms recently became the number one cause of death for children in the United States, surpassing motor vehicle deaths and those caused by other injuries.”
So, say those communist softies at the Kaiser Family Foundation in July 2022.

Good work posse. We are safe now.

    • david,

Included in that “child” total are young criminals ages 12-17, they know exactly what they are doing with the guns, they are not “innocents”.

  2. More people are killed by knives. Let’s then ban them too. Seriously we need to start banning criminals… that’s what we need to do!
