Five Arrested After Sex With Children Sting In Walnut Creek

Five people – including a German national – have been arrested after a multi-agency sting aimed at adults seeking sex with children unfolded in Walnut Creek.

The five currently face charges including attempted lewd acts with a minor, contacting a minor to commit a sex offense, and arranging to meet a minor for sex.

The suspects were identified by police as:
🔹 Andrew Garcia, 32, Concord
🔹 Billie Ray Breland, 29, Antioch
🔹 Rudolf Naused Robl, 42, visiting from Germany
🔹 Jacek Markiewicz, 67, Walnut Creek, also charged with attempted kidnapping
🔹 Taesu Park, 36, Marin County

The sting was part of an ongoing law enforcement action against adult offenders who use social media to identify and meet underage victims. The Contra Costa County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force works to identify predators before a real child is harmed, combining investigations, training, and victim support across the region.
