We’re looking for additional details on the armed robbery of the Martinez Walmart store in the 1000 block of Arnold Drive on Sunday.

The crime was reported at 5:35pm. Specifics on how the crime occurred, suspect description, type of weapon used or loss were not reported.

        30 AGO IN THE PLOT – RP WAS WALKING TO HER VEH PARKED NEAR THE PLOT ENTRANCE/HOME DEPOT
        SIDE AND AN UNFAMILIAR MALE TRIED TO LURE HER INTO HIS VEH AND THEN FORCEFULLY SNATCHED HER PURSE. WMA 30S-40S WRG A BLK TOP AND BLU JEANS, ASSOC WITH A WHI PICK UP TRUCK. SUBJ LEFT AFTER HE TOOK THE PURSE, UNK DOT.

    It’s one thing to rob the local jewelry store, citizen on the street or mall shop, but going after WALMART CORP!!!!! This might bring out privately hired investigators who won’t worry about our local DA. WALMART CORP might make the DA think about other plans.

      “As long as no one was hurt” is dismissive and insensitive. Armed robbery can be traumatic.
