Lafayette Jewelry Store Breached And Burglarized

Lafayette’s Ware Designs store on Mount Diablo Boulevard was entered by two thieves who smashed a window to gain access – smashing display cases once inside.

The burglary occurred early Friday morning and came to light when the store manager furnished internal security video to a local television station.

No one was injured and the store’s manager was quoted as saying the thieves managed to make off with relatively inexpensive pieces.

Police in Lafayette have not released any details of the break-in.
