Multi-Car Crash Closes Bore 3 Of The Caldecott Tuesday

A multi-car crash in Bore 3 of the Caldecott Tunnel resulted in at least one injury and closure of the westbound bore Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported at 8:55am after a Mercedes and a Lexus tangled, bringing traffic to a halt westbound until crews could reach and treat a person complaining of head and neck pain and tow the involved vehicles from the scene.

Flash Subscribers were alerted to the crash and resulting traffic backup within seconds of the incident.
