Light Rain Leaves Roadways Slick In The 24/680 Saturday

Expected rainfall was welcomed by local gardeners but perhaps cursed by some local drivers Saturday, one local driver capturing the moments after a spinout on the Camino Pablo onramp to westbound Highway 24 this a.m.

The incident, one of several reported so far this morning, followed another, fatal crash on southbound I680 at Stone Valley Road in Alamo reported at 6 a.m. this morning.

We don’t need to tell you that first rains (in a month) tend to slicken roads and that it’s a good idea to ease off the gas a bit when out and about.
