RickRolling Hooters Signage Celebrates April Fools’ Day!
The bankrupt but “transitioning” Atlanta-based Hooters restaurant chain has expressed interest in establishing an East Bay location for some time – and appeared to have settled on a Walnut Creek location – until you dig a little deeper.
A professionally printed rendering of the latest Hooters location appeared on the hardscaped footprint of the old Chili’s restaurant in the city and immediately captured the attention of strolling sidewalk superintendents who bought the promotion and accompanying signage Hooters Line and Sinker.
Do your own research but we stopped long enough to have a laugh and enjoy the video attached to the Internet prank. If you were hoping to catch News24/680 with this one you’ll have to do better next time!

…. funny, related story. A friend of ours was visiting and he was wearing a Hooters ball cap. We were inWalnut Creek and a woman passing by looked him in the face and called him a pig. He thought it was a hostile town but we let him know that the many feminists in town surely did not like his hat
We need a “male” Hooters! Even for those of us who are happily married! We’re monogamous, but we’re not dead! Bring them on!
