Man Dies Following Fight At Concord Elementary School Wednesday
A 62-year-old Concord man died following a fight in the parking lot of Sun Terrace Elementary School, 2448 Floyd Lane in Concord, at around 5:20 p.m.in Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was subsequently identified as Sione Filimoehala, 62 of Concord.
Officers responding to reports of a fight involving several adults in the front parking lot of the school arrived to find a chaotic scene with Filimoehala down and unresponsive on the ground. He was transported to a local hospital where he was subsequently declared deceased.
The cause of the fight is being investigated, though readers contacting this site said things started after someone struck a child. People involved in the fight were identified and are reportedly cooperating with the investigation. Their arrest status was not revealed by police.
Police did say they are not looking for any additional suspects and that there is no threat to the public.

No. This was after school. An older adult male verbally confronted a school bully in defense of his child and he was physically attacked. He is now deceased.
