Four Arrested After Alamo Burglary, Pursuit Wednesday

Four people were arrested following a residential burglary in the 100 block of La Sonoma Way in Alamo early Wednesday – the four scattering in two cars stolen from the homeowners before sheriff’s investigators located them in Concord.

The unidentified suspects reportedly fled at high speed with police calling off their chase in the interest of public safety but later finding the stolen cars in Bay Point and Orinda – the occupants fleeing into the surrounding neighborhoods on foot.

A California Highway Patrol helicopter orbited the location where the cars where found and eventually took four people believed associated with the vehicles and responsible for the residential burglary into custody.

Vehicles and personal property taken during the theft were returned to the owner, police said. All four suspects were booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on multiple charges that include burglary, felony evading, and vehicle theft.

      The homies in Alamo only get aggressive when you cut in front of them at Peet’s Coffee.
