Two Seriously Injured In Walnut Creek Head-On Saturday
Head-on crash with rescue at S. Broadway and Rudgear in Walnut Creek Saturday.
Two drivers were trapped with an extended extrication for one driver. Both transferred to local hospitals with both lanes of traffic blocked on S. Broadway from Newell Ave. to Rudgear Road.
The crash was reported at 8:17 p.m.

One of the drivers was a dear friend of mine. They are in critical condition, having emergency surgery after emergency surgery.
