Overnight Fire Burns In Briones Valley Thursday

Firefighters turned out to put down a wildfire in Briones Valley on Pinole Valley Road near Bear Creek early Thursday.

The blaze was reported at approximately 3:37 a.m. A crew remains on scene to provide a fire watch over the burn area.

In the end, 10 acres were lost and no structures threatened.
