Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested After Sheltering In Martinez Home Thursday

Police arrested a suspected armed robber who took shelter in a home on Begonia Court after leading officers on a brief chase Thursday night.

Officers tracked and arrested the man, so far unnamed by police, after the suspect entered a home in the 100 block of Begonia around 7 p.m., a police helicopter providing overwatch as the arrest was made.

The suspect is believed responsible for an armed robbery in Vallejo earlier in the day.
