A driver reported that shots were fired at their car during an apparent road rage incident on Ygnacio Valley Road at Cowell in Concord overnight, police turning out to search for evidence in the area Saturday morning.
Details were scarce due to the hour and early onset of the investigation but Walnut Creek police were seen scouring the area in an apparent search for shell casings early Saturday morning.
It was not immediately known what prompted the gunfire or if any shots struck the targeted car. There were no reported injuries.
Yippee ki yay….. it’s the Wild West out there. Fellow citizens, use caution when in public, drive to the nearest police station if you have any concerns.
