    • I’ve lost hope that we ever will round up bad guys again. At least here in the Bay Area where there’s just way too much ‘compassion’ for the criminal, and none for the victim. I’ve even heard some say that it’s a way of equalizing those with (supposid) privilege and those without. They’re now justifying crime.

      • Wow. You complain plaintively!! that you do not understand what is happening to your world. NO HOPE! The world is upside down!

Read your words. You live in a world of victimhood, afloat in a bubble of your own group think! Crime is not new. The ups and downs of HOPE is certainly not new. Get a grip!

        • David, your words are true, but until very recently criminals would be apprehended, often convicted and then sent away from society for long periods of time. Not so today.

        • Great job explaining it away, you really channeled big media there. They have taught you well.

I consider people who make themselves victims as the ones living in victimhood. A denial of whats going on and excusing it away is exactly this. I also consider someone who says the same things over and over again while denying reality based on facts as being in a bubble of group think, this is you. I have yet to see one time where you agreed with anyone here or looked for found common ground but instead are always trying to obfuscate the details and facts of what is occurring and play things down. Clearly you have a serious agenda, i’m guessing related to protecting your business or property value and thats your real reason for posting here.

My guess is Gregg has lost hope partially due to attitudes like yours.

We would all do better to stick to the facts and situations at hand when we post here. Let’s do better.

          • “My guess is Gregg has lost hope partially due to attitudes like yours.”

So, the guy with the victim complex is also a victim of my attitude? That’s your guess.
Don’t overthink it. He sings one song, over and over. I have nothing to do with his constant refrain other than objecting to it when he posts it because I believe it to be overly simplistic and not fact-based, an opinion to which I am allowed.

  2. “Clearly you have a serious agenda, i’m guessing related to protecting your business or property value and thats your real reason for posting here.” Well, that’s one theory. Not a coherent one, considering your apparent negative assessment of my views on crime and policing. If I wanted to protect property values I would be concerned about crime, homelessness/mental health/addiction, and policing…which I am. So, again, your point, whatever it is, is just a puddle of nonsense to me.
