A scary moment ended with a satisfactory outcome after a minivan made contact with a bicyclist and a brick post on Tice Valley Boulevard at Castle Hill Ranch in Walnut Creek Friday.
Ambulances were summoned for both the cyclist and the driver of the minivan after the vehicle’s airbags deployed but injuries for both parties were described as minor.
The crash was reported at 9:30 p.m.
