  1. It was actually on Pacheco Blvd at the Vine Ave intersection. • So there’s a location, or direction difference from the reporting story and your comment??? I thought I read the same information in both.

      • I’m assuming that it was edited after this comment clarified some previously inaccurate info in the article. But that’s 100% just me guessing

        • To “Guess”

Story was not changed except to reflect/include input from witness, who essentially reiterated the location given in our initial story.

    • I’m too clumsy and reckless to risk my life on a motorcycle. Those if you that aren’t, still should really consider that every time you get on that bike you’re betting your life that not 1 person on the road will be a total f****** idiot. You could be absurdly safe, cautious and aware of your surroundings even with possible situational awareness planning for risks that could occur if something else happens 1st. But if some idiot turns left and and decides to turn too early and cut across 10 feet of the left lane for the opposite direction while you are at a red light, you could be killed.

Bikes don’t protect you from stupid people in cars, and most people are to stupid to trust not to kill you

      • Bikes break MUCH quicker and evade danger quicker unless one chooses to ride some hulking monster. Buuuut, people who ride bikes generally like to ride fast and skirt stalled traffic. So, “You could be absurdly safe, cautious and aware of your surroundings”, and ride without incident. I did, BITD.

        • I don’t know where you got that idea from, but it’s extremely wrong. Motorcycles do not brake as effectively as cars, and take longer to stop. There are countless tests done by motorcycle and car magazines that show this. Unfortunately, a fundamental lack of understanding of their own vehicle kills a lot of riders, and it’s one of the easiest problems to fix.
