RIP. Condolences to the family. What a tragedy.
Words just don’t do it do they? So very sorry..
Well put. Thank you from the Hofeling family.❤️
Thank you John that means a lot.
Horrible. However…unclear if this was a hit and run. “Collision with a car” sounds as though driver stopped, or there is video.
Thank you everyone for your kind words it means a lot to me and my family that people took time out there day to send warm thoughts. You’re good people
Thank you❤️. As far as I know they stopped and cooperated though it is unclear the exact cause of this tragedy. It’s one thing if it is a crime, drugs/alcohol, reckless/distracted driving, etc. But I also do feel for the driver because he’s gonna have to live for the rest of his life for taking a father, grandfather, brother, (my) uncle, friend and many others who are going to always miss his presence. He loved cycling and being outdoors and was one of the smartest people I’ve met. He worked in construction and actually saved people when the cypress structure fell in the 1989 earthquake. He will be loved and missed.
