Man Shot, Killed In Dublin Sports Grounds Parking Lot Saturday

One man is dead and another in custody after a lethal altercation in the Dublin Sports Grounds parking lot in Dublin Saturday.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene after police said he was shot multiple times by a man taken into custody by police. Police said there is no threat to public safety.

“All known suspects are in custody. The identity of the victim is not being released,” police said in a news release.

Police responded to the popular local sports complex at 6700 Dublin Boulevard at 3:08 p.m. after witnesses reported a shooting in the parking lot.

No other injuries were reported. It was not known what prompted the shooting.
