Wet Roads And Overnight Police Action Gum Up The 24/680 Thursday
This rainfall – which by all reports will be with us for a while – is great for our gardens but it’s playing hell with our roadways.
If you’re on one, we don’t have to tell you it’s pretty slidy out there and people are crashing into things. Eastbound Highway 24 was crawling through Orinda to Lafayette after a crash and others have been reported.
We’re also getting belated inquiries into overnight incidents and at least one reported act of knifeplay and, again, we would urge you hawk-eyed residents to drop us a line WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS HAPPENING so we can roll out there and see what’s what. After that all that’s left for you to do is to count the PD cruisers…
