Man Beaten, Robbed In Downtown Walnut Creek Friday
Scene in the area of Locust and Bonanza in Walnut Creek after a man was reportedly beaten and robbed. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, but may have suffered blows to the head.
Police and emergency personnel responded to the area just before 10 p.m. Investigators appeared to be canvassing area businesses for surveillance video believed to have captured the incident.
Investigators are searching for at least two and possibly as many as four suspects.

We’re actually always out of Walnut Creek by about 8:00 p.m.. there’s a lot more of an unsavory element that we see after that. I’m guessing out of towners coming in to drink and party and maybe do criminal activity.

Do you mean the City Council that unanimously rubber stamps WCPDs increased budget and overtime pay every year? I thought the increased overtime budget was to have more foot patrols downtown on the weekends.
I hope he’s okay, and I hope and pray he wasn’t an elderly gentleman. If the suspects are still at large, catch them!
