Pedestrian Struck By Car In Walnut Creek Monday
A man walking with his wife was struck by a car in the area of South Main Street and Botelho Drive Monday afternoon, suffering a laceration to his head.
The 1:54 pm collision touched off a brief road closure and resultant traffic jam as motorists looked for ways around the site.
The victim was alert and coherent as he was being tended to. He was transported to John Muir Hospital while the involved vehicle, a Lincoln Navigator, was towed to the police station for processing.
