2-Alarm Fire Damages Home In Walnut Creek Tuesday
Another fire today, this one a 2-alarm blaze at a home in the 700 block of Woodwind Place, reported at 3:38pm and proving to be a stubborn fight for fire crews battling against both high heat as well as flames.
No word on cause or extent of damage. One person, initially believed to be a passersby or neighbor, was treated for smoke inhalation.
Two dogs were found dead inside the residence.

Took us all by surprise. Very sad to hear about the dogs but glad most everyone made it out without injury.
