Is That You, Banksy? Roads Closed After Martinez Crash Wednesday

It may look like the latest performance art vision of the ever-elusive Banksy but this crash was no wall art stencil as the occupants of a home in the 2000 block of Alhambra Avenue quickly learned Wednesday.

The driver of this vehicle left their mark – and their car – stuck in the side of the building before hoofing it away on foot – leaving others to clean up the mess.

Gas lines were shut off, building inspectors were summoned, roads were closed as police searched for the scampering hit-and-runner. Not very artistic after all was said and done.
