Concord Carjacker Strikes On Clayton Road Thursday

Police in Concord are working the theft of a KIA Soul taken at gunpoint by a carjacker on Clayton Road Thursday morning.

The theft was reported at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of Clayton Road, an armed suspected described as a black male in his 20s confronting the victim and demanding the keys to the vehicle.

The victim complied and the suspect, reportedly armed with a “black gun” of undetermined type, was last seen driving off on Clayton Road. No injuries were reported.
