Two Stabbed In Concord After Apparent Dispute Over Gang Graffiti Tuesday

SHARE

Two people were stabbed multiple times after an apparent dispute about spray painted gang graffiti touched off a fight between four people in the area of Willow Pass Road and the Highway 242 overpass.

The two victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of multiple wounds shortly after calls for help began to come in around 2:45p.m Tuesday. Police later said they were in stable condition.

Investigators determined the attacks were the result of a dispute over graffiti tagging between rival gang members.
CPD Violence Suppression Unit detectives identified twenty-five year old Cristian Cobos, and twenty-two year old Ramon Cobos, two brothers who reside in Fairfield, as the suspects. This past Tuesday morning, CPD VSU detectives, with the assistance of the Fairfield Police Department, arrested both brothers and conducted a search warrant in Fairfield.
The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office has filed attempted murder charges on both suspects.

  1. It’s bad juju to cross out another gangs placa, often leads to retribution. That’s the code of the hood. Hey, there’s some debate as to me being a gang member.
