Two people were killed in a 2-car crash at Kirker Pass and Hess roads in Concord early Saturday, a van rolling over at the scene.
The crash was reported just after 3 a.m. with officers arriving to find the wreckage of a vehicle and a person on the side of the road, apparently ejected from the crash. That person was declared deceased at the scene.
A second victim was located minutes later further up the road at the scene of what was initially thought to be a small vegetation fire, but which turned out to be a second crash site with a vehicle burning. A second victim was found deceased at that scene.
