Nicked Gas Line Prompts Evacuations In Walnut Creek Thursday

Bit of an emergency vehicle fest around 50 Tahoe Court in Walnut Creek tonight after a vehicle nicked a gas line to a building – prompting evacuations.

PG&E crew on scene and on the job at 9:10 pm but dozens of folks were advised to evacuate the premises and did so.

The all-clear was sounded at 9:13 p.m.

Oddly, the driver of a heavily damaged car initially believed to have been involved in the gas line crash turned out to be unrelated to the incident – though he attracted the attention of police in any case.

He nicked a gas line, eh. What can you get for a gas line?
I’ve watched too much Slow Horses, I guess.

    Surrounded by losers
    Misfits and boozers
    Hanging by your fingernails
    You made one mistake
You got burned at the stake
You’re finished, you’re foolish, you failed
    There’s always a hope
    On this slippery slope
Somewhere a ghost of a chance
To get back in that game
    And burn off your shame
And dance with the big boys again

Whoa. Always up for a good lyric, but have to ask if you got into the post-supper cognac tonight…

I’m drinking whatever Jackson’s having, and he’s none too particular, it seems.

Don’t tell me you’re not watching the misadventures of the secret service. It would seem your cup o tea.

The actual Secret Service or a cinematic representation?

And, yes, that’s Mick, the one and only, singing the Slough House blues.
