Reports of a SWAT action underway in Antioch Thursday dovetailed into the arrest of a local woman for alleged threats against a school in Walnut Creek.

SWAT operators took Antioch resident Danielle Nye, 33, into custody following execution of a search and arrest warrant at her home Thursday night.

Nye, who allegedly sent numerous emails and voicemails to administrators at Contra Costa Christian Schools in Walnut Creek on Feb. 28 and again on March 1 – including one email in which a rifle was reportedly depicted – was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility, where she remains in custody on $25,000 bail.

Walnut Creek police said that “based on the continuing threats, behavior of the caller, and the photo of the weapon, CCCS sent students in after-school classes home early on March 1st. Walnut Creek Police searched the campus and found no evidence of weapons or threats to staff or students. Out of an abundance of caution, CCCS cancelled all classes for March 2nd.”

Investigators said it is not known what, if any, connection or complaint Nye may have had against the school. They characterized the alleged threats as “an isolated incident.”

  1. random dial a school and make threats??? for no known reason??? people are losing their dam minds….

  2. The tenor of e-mail and voicemail messages received by the school warranting a SWAT team deployment must have been extreme in nature. It appears unlikely that the suspect will be attending school’s upcoming auction and crab feed.

  3. Is threatening school children such a bad thing? Idk. I want to hear what Scowling Man says about it before I decide what I think. There may be 2nd Amendment issues at play or a false flag operation. Let me hear first from the Truth Tellers.
