  1. This is scary! We’ve noticed sketcier street people in Walnut Creek in the last year or so. My wife brought it to my attention that she often feels uncomfortable there now. Ironic when Broadway Plaza put a hundred million into town, yet SF~type street people are now lingering around it. Someone said that Walnut Creek opened some sort of homeless shelter a few blocks away now. Don’t know if it’s related though.

  2. They caught the guy – Jeremy Mickens, 35 of San Francisco (not sure if he’s a transient or what). It looks like this is the same Jeremy Mickens of Hoover, AL that was arrested in 2012 in Rohnert Park for sex trafficking of a minor (Google).. Why can’t we keep criminals in jail? The state of CA has so much responsibility on its hands in a story like this – a guy who belongs in a jail cell is roaming free. Won’t be surprised if he’s out again soon.

  3. Governor Brown & (former) AG Kamala Harris have let thousands of these people out on the streets. They seem to think it’s mean to have them be uncomfortable in jail. I think it’s mean to be putting the rest of us at risk.
