Return Of “Three Mules” – John Sears Turns Up In Concord

An old friend returned to the 24/680 in recent hours and it’s good to see him… and his namesake mules.

Veteran readers may remember our past stories on “Three Mules” aka John Sears, a man with a unique approach to what constitutes open space and how that space should be utilized, making his way up and down the state with his mules in order to make his case.

Photographer “GoGo” (Trip G) Gomez first spotted him in Brubeck Park and made these pictures. I you know John, he won’t be here long but his many friends will be glad to know he’s still up and around.
