Attempted Robbery Under Investigation In Walnut Creek Wednesday

Walnut Creek police are looking for two men who allegedly attempted to rob a person on Arbolado Drive this morning.

The strong-arm robbery attempt was reported at 11:44am in the 3300 block of Arbolado. An ambulance was summoned for the victim, who was pushed to the ground by the would-be thieves, but the extent of their injuries were described as minor.

Police are looking for two black men in ski masks who fled the area in a black Infiniti immediately after the robbery – colliding with another vehicle in their haste to get away. No one was believed to have been injured in that crash.

Walnut Creek police subsequently issued a statement saying the incident was under investigation.
