Fatal Crash In Livermore Monday

At least one person was killed in a rollover crash on westbound I-580 west of the Airway Boulevard offramp in Livermore Monday.

The crash was reported at approximately 1:20 p.m. and is believed to have occurred after contact between a semi truck and an SUV. Witnesses reported seeing the SUV roll several times before landing back on its wheels.

Unconfirmed reports from witnesses reported that at least one person may have been ejected from the vehicle. Several lanes of the freeway were briefly closed to facilitate the California Highway Patrol investigation of the crash scene.
