Pup Commandeers Walnut Creek Police Car – Gives Officer A Tonguelashing

Walnut Creek police are trying to reunite a lovely and, apparently, highly affectionate pup with its rightful owner after the animal sought refuge in Officer Akers’ car in town yesterday and let him know in dog language that she was lost.

No word if the department’s uniform policy covers excessive drooling but Officer Akers got a severe tonguelashing and was seen with a rather large smile at HQ afterwards.

Doggie Info:

  • Pit Mix? (You doggie experts, vets tell us!)
  • Unchipped
  • Very healthy
  • A lover

The department would, naturally, like to get this temporarily wayward critter back with her humans. No word on how other WCPD canines received the new arrival.

She’s currently at in Martinez.

That dog has a serious thing for that guy. I’ve been with my girlfriend three years and she doesn’t look at me that way.
