Sporty Burglars Raid Deerpark Drive Garage In Walnut Creek Thursday

Burglars entered the garage of a Deerpark Drive home sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to residents in the neighborhood, entering through an unlocked side door and making off with bicycles and other sporting equipment.

The theft is among a large number of other petty (but not so petty if you’re a victim) crimes involving thefts from cars and unlocked homes and, in one case, the brazen theft of a safe from a business in downtown Lafayette.
