Platitudes. Platitudes are offered. For free.
What do you know? What do you imagine that you know?
You imagine a family. You imagine she is missed.
    What do you know?
    Platitudes are offered.

Opinions. Opinions are offered. For free.
What’s being expressed in the comments you’re criticizing is sympathy:
      1. feelings of pity and sorrow for someone else’s misfortune
      2. understanding between people; common feeling
You may not share those “common” feelings, but it’s evident that others here do.
Each human was literally connected to another at the beginning of their life and more likely than not to have figuratively been connected to at least one other human at life’s end.
No one here offered vague solutions/platitudes in lieu of actual knowledge or action. They shared feelings of sympathy.

I may not be a smart man, but I know what “platitude” is. Your insinuation that I don’t share sympathy is just that, your insinuation. You own that.

I guess some people just don’t want to be found. It would still be nice to be able to put a name on her grave.
