SHARE

Firefighters responding to reports of smoke at Pleasanton’s Amador Valley High School, 1155 Santa Rita Road, found fire in the attic of the school’s small gym Sunday Night.

The building’s sprinkler system reportedly helped prevent the spread of active fire but with that on-scene commanders called for a 2nd Alarm response after the fire was reported at 7:57p.m.

Livermore-Pleasanton firefighters and Alameda County firefighters are working to contain the fire as this is written (9:56pm).

  1. Perhaps some aspiring young arsonists just became local legends. Torching the school ranks atop the affluent teen rebellion hierarchy!

If so, they will be celebrated at their 20-year class reunion, but NOT the 5-10 year reunions.
