Several Businesses In Downtown Walnut Creek Burglarized/Vandalized In Recent Days

As part of our ongoing coverage of – actual news and not press releases – we followed up on reader reports of vandalism/attempted burglaries/successful burglaries in downtown Walnut Creek and elsewhere in recent days.

So far as we can determine, about five businesses in downtown Walnut Creek – from sushi restaurants to saloons to crêperies are recovering after having their glass frontages shattered during a flurry of recent incidents.

Our thanks to readers who brought this to our attention in recent days.

      Judging from their signs I’d say Xicote and Flamingo Nail were involved but that’s just a wild guess.

    These businesses had alarms and cameras and these crews are still getting in and stealing despite increases in police presence.
