These Days, There’s No Such Thing As A Little Fire

Area firefighters have their heads on a swivel these dry days as every fire, no matter how small it may appear, is cause for concern.

This utility trailer was parking in the 2600 block of Jones Road and Jones Place in Walnut Creek and was uncomfortably close to some trees and power lines when it caught fire just before 7 a.m. Sunday. A crew from Engine 1 pounced and made the blaze go pfft but not before giving the neighbors a few anxious moments.

Don’t know what was in that trailer but it’s somewhat the worse for wear this morning.
