Rescuers freed a male victim after “breaking” or uncoupling a string of cars to reach him. He was taken by gurney to a waiting ambulance for transport to a local hospital at 11:09am.

Trains through the station were halted during the rescue – initiated after train personnel and witnesses reportedly saw a person jump or fall onto the tracks at 10:21am. Rescuers searching under the trains found the victim caught in the undercarriage and initiating a conversation with him.
