Two Walnut Creek Homes Damaged In Early-Morning Fire Wednesday
Fire spread to two homes on Sutcliffe Place in Walnut Creek early Wednesday, creeping into attic spaces of a residence in the 400 block of Sutcliffe and spreading to an adjacent property.
The blaze was reported at 1:12am and was eventually upgraded to 2-alarms as crews vented the roof in search of the fire’s origin while others searched for occupants. There were no reports of injuries.
Searches were finalized and containment of fire in the attic space of 425 Sutcliffe was declared by 1:36 am. There was no immediate word on cause or damage estimate.
