San Ramon Regional Announces Arrival Of CEO Rob Anderson

San Ramon Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Rob Anderson has joined the organization as chief executive officer. Anderson’s leadership will maintain the organization’s commitment to compassionate, high-quality care for people across Contra Costa County and San Ramon.

Anderson brings extensive healthcare leadership experience and a strong track record of improving patient care services, strengthening service lines through physician collaboration, and fostering high-performing teams. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to deliver meaningful results in enhancing healthcare access.

Most recently, Anderson served as Chief Executive Officer of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Under his leadership, the hospital opened a new patient tower and he helped to elevate hospital quality performance to the top 5% nationally. Prior to this role, Rob served as Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Campus and Providence Children’s Hospital within The Hospitals of Providence Health Network (THOP) in El Paso, Texas. Earlier in his career, Rob served as CEO of THOP Sierra Campus and Specialty Campus. He has also held roles as Hospital Chief Operations Officer and Market Chief Strategy Officer. The Hospitals of Providence Health Network is a sister health system to San Ramon Regional Medical Center.

Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Texas Christian University.
