Watching the Bloviator In Chief waddle around Davos confusing the names of countries he wants to invade while insulting our allies and conducting the Kremlin’s business was exhausting. I need a rest. I would say the whole charade was eye opening if I hadn’t known this has been the Great Grifter’s MO since about 2015.
Back at home, I watched Rumpledshirtskin and the rest of the Republican Clown Car try to dismantle Jack Smith in a display of hypocrisy so brazen capitol policeman Michael Fanone began to cough/curse a la Animal House – throwing in the single digit salute for good measure.
Understandable? Sure. Uncomfortable? Yes. A measure of how far we’ve fallen? Certainly. America dug a big hole for itself and it’s going to take more than a weekend for us to find a way out. I’m ready for whats to come but after watching the level of corruption, dishonor and disrespect recently exhibited by our – chosen – leaders I’m sure it’s going to hurt.
