Bit of a scene at Nordstrom and at the Macy’s store in Walnut Creek tonight after a young crew attempted some thievery… allegedly striking a Macy’s employee on the way out of the store.
The group, numbering about 5, didn’t get far, brought up short outside the Nordstrom location at Broadway Plaza. And they weren’t happy about it. One 14-year-old managed to slip her handcuffs and had to be restrained prior to a ride to the hospital for observation. Others getting used to the iron on their wrists…
Omg!! Please please explain “lettuce wrap”!!
Ha! Thanks, EBB – here’s a photo of a “Full Wrap” going on, it’s a containment system devised for use by police when suspects resist arrest. We thought it was going to be used when a young suspect went “Full Houdini” (i.e. slipped her handcuffs, restraints) but officers at the scene opted for other means, a sort of “Half Wrap.”
….standard description???….
Young… angry… and “in custody” will suffice.
… and even a spit hood
Well played 24/680. Nice catch LEOs !
Thanks, Jeff!
Good pics!!!
It is officially known as “the burrito”, a replacement for the implement we used to use which was “the hobble”.
