Firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze burning at a home in the 100 block of Fig Tree Lane in Martinez on Wednesday night.
The blaze, of undetermined origin, was reported at 8:07 p.m. The fire damaged power lines to the home, burned into adjacent vegetation and consumed most of the home’s garage.
Firefighters worked around energized lines with PG&E crews summoned to de-energize the lines.
No injuries have been reported.
