A San Ramon resident reported being followed home and robbed by two men who displayed a handgun before making off with his iPhone and Wallet Thursday.

The robbery was reported in the 2000 block of Baker Way shortly after 11 a.m. It was not immediately known how long the suspects, described as two black males, had been following the victim prior to the robbery.

The victim was not believed to have been injured but a short-time later a 22-year-old Oakland man was chased down and arrested at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton after Alameda County Sheriff’s investigators tied Fajon Green of Oakland to a series of robberies in the Bay Area.

Green was arrested on suspicion of the San Ramon robbery as well as one at a golf course in unincorporated San Mateo County. His alleged partner eluded capture.

Investigators said the two men took a Rolex watch and a wallet from a victim at Crystal Springs Golf Course before fleeing in a silver Infiniti sedan, hours before the second robbery in San Ramon.

Both suspects reportedly ran when deputies approached. Green was eventually located and arrested in the Macy’s store.

Several Rolex watches and a Glock pistol were found in a car the men were using, along with cellphones, jewelry, a purse, and wallet taken during the San Ramon holdup.
