Firefighters responded to a call for help from two window washers in distress after their scaffolding equipment collapsed while on the job at 2121 N. California Blvd. this morning.
Both workers were left dangling by their safety harnesses and had to be rescued by firefighters. They were lowered to the ground shortly after their call for help was received at 6:45 a.m., treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Helluva way to start your day.
No thank you very much. Accountants don’t need safety harnesses. Glad the men are ok
Wondered what this was all about. Thanks
Nope no thanks. I couldn’t do that work.
“Hi, Honey… Could you please bring me some clean pants AND some clean shorts…. I’ll explain when you get here” Thank goodness for those harnesses eh??
That awful feeling when your whole world drops out from under your feet.
Good to see they followed safety procedure. Nice work by the fire people.
I couldn’t do that work. Not for any amount of money.
I hate when that happens.
No thank you very much.
Glad they were tied on.
First flash of the day and it’s a bigeee….. glad they got them down.
weondered what was happening
I don’t think I would like that at all. Total tom Cruise rescue.
glad they were able to get down.
Is there anyone even in that building???
How about the scumbag white supremacists that were dangling signs above the El Curtola overpass today? How does the city feel about paying to protect these deplorable individuals from the wrath of normal people? I drove by and gave them a piece of my mind, but noticed the patrol vehicle close by to make sure nobody hurts these trash bags. I don’t remember any other presidential candidates that needed police protection but I understand why it is necessary.
What does this have to do with the two window washers? Off topic and baffling.
Safety gear works…
I heard the sirens and knew something serious was going on.. Thank God for those safety ropes, for the Fire Department coming to their rescue and for this site again!!
