A Moment Both Terrible and Beautiful…

A crew from the Fremont Fire Department, specifically the gang from Engine 558, were hard at work at the scene of a – sadly – losing battle at the Glass Fire in Napa County a couple of days ago when they spotted the flag, and took a moment to retrieve it.

Firefighters Mike L., Seth G., Scott H., and Rusty E. were in on the “Suribachi in Reverse” Moment.
