Van Drives Into Rheem Valley CVS Saturday; Four Persons Injured

Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District personnel and Moraga police are on the scene of a vehicle into building crash in Rheem Valley, in which the driver of a van apparently rammed the CVS location at 580 Moraga Road.

Police are talking with the male driver. No cause has been established, so far.

Ambulances were summoned. Three people received treatment at the scene while CVS employee “Inge,” well known among Rheem Valley shoppers, is in the hospital recuperating from a broken hip suffered in the crash.
