Two Shot, One Killed In Pleasant Hill Tuesday

Two people were shot and seriously wounded outside a condominium complex in the 300 block of Twinbridge Circle in Pleasant Hill Tuesday, police converging on the area to render aid and search for suspects.

Witnesses describe a blue Charger with heavily tinted windows and a loud muffler leaving the scene of the shooting, two men down in the parking lot. A handgun could reportedly be seen on the ground near where the two victims went down.

Multiple gunshots were reported in the area just prior to noon.

The condition of the two wounded victims could not be immediately ascertained though witnesses contacting police reported that at least one man had been hit several times and appeared unresponsive prior to the arrival of medical personnel. Life-saving measures were undertaken.

UPDATE: One of the two victims, a 67-year-old man, has been declared deceased at a local hospital.

The second victim was transported to John Muir Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening wounds.

The suspect in this shooting is currently at large.

  1. It’s interesting the number of crimes that involve a ‘Dodge Charger with tinted windows’.
    Big wheels and loud exhaust round out the package.

    • It’s the modern low cost, high speed escape car of choice. Also one of the choices by LA County Sheriff for use by law enforcement departments.
