Del Valle Regional Park Closed Due to Potential Flooding

SHARE

Del Valle Regional Park in East Livermore will be closed, including the campground and marina, through Sunday March 3rd due to high lake water levels impacting safe recreation. The Park District is preparing for flooding as the Del Valle lake levels have continued to rise with the recent rain.

Del Valle is a state-owned reservoir operated by the Department of Water Resources. East Bay Regional Park District operates the recreational amenities including the campground, marina and hiking trails. The centerpiece of the park is a five-mile-long lake with a variety of water-oriented recreation, from swimming to windsurfing, fishing and boating, surrounded by 4,395 acres of beautiful land for hiking, horseback riding, and nature study. Del Valle also is the eastern gateway to the Ohlone Wilderness Trail, 28 miles of scenic back-country trail.

For campground reservation cancellation/rescheduling, please contact the reservations department at 1-888-327-2757, option 2, for more information.

  1. What we need here is a Powerful Wall, a wall greater than any Great Wall, the greatest wall in all of history, a wall to repel the the muddy waters and put them in their place.
